Lady Wildcats Serve Up Some Fun with LaCour House Residents

The Lady Wildcats spent an afternoon off the court for a very worthy cause.
Coach Karen Wooley and her Lady Wildcat Volleyball Team are passionate about not only their work on the court, but also about following the school’s mission statement of becoming productive contributors of a diverse society. The Lady Wildcats spent an afternoon off the court for a very worthy cause. The young ladies visited the LaCour House to spread goodwill and visit with the residents of the assisted living community. The Wildcats were inclined to give back to the community and felt they could not only give in this venture, but they could receive so much by visiting with the residents. The team played balloon volleyball, did bumping drills, and even worked with the residents on serving the “balloons”. The girls thoroughly enjoyed spending time with their honorary teammates at the LaCour House. The team continues to exemplify their recent prestigious honor for going “Beyond the Game” to empower others. Pointe Coupee Parish schools are committed to being part of the one community-one spirit initiative.
