Livonia High School Students Learn Physics Concept by Demonstrating Effects of Dropping Objects
Physics students tested impulse by demonstrating the effects of dropping an object without something to absorb the force versus dropping the object in a padded area to absorb the force. The use of padding distributed the force over more time keeping the object safe. By seeing this, students were able to better understand the concept. Real life applications were made to make this simple concept relevant to everyday living.
