The Welding Department recently completed a community outreach project for the Pointe Coupee Parish 4-H Shooting Sports Team. The welders had to design, fabricate, and construct frames for the twenty targets that are used throughout the shooting season. The young welders enjoyed this real world application of skills acquired and are eager to see their finished projects put to use for the youth of Pointe Coupee Parish.
