Livonia High School General Cooperative Education Program Hosts Employers and Parents

Students in the GCE program earn 3 elective credits for successful participation, but more importantly, they gain valuable work experience and employment skills.
LHS Students in the General Cooperative Education (GCE) program gathered with family on Thursday evening to honor the employers who provided work sites for the students this past school year. A special certificate of thanks was awarded to Continental Genetics, Guidroz Farm, Tractor Supply, McDonald's of Erwinville and of New Roads, A Garden of Angels Learning Center, Creative Steps Child Development Center, Pizza Hut of New Roads, Fordoche Operating Company, Four Oaks Farm, Hot Tails Restaurant, and Tim Marionneaux Lumber by GCE Coordinator Darla Spaetgens.

Students in the GCE program earn 3 elective credits for successful participation, but more importantly, they gain valuable work experience and employment skills.

Principal Stacy Gueho was also on hand to express her appreciation to the parents and employers of the participants.
